Will anything come of any of this? Doubtful. Despite Trump's example of how to fight back, the rest of the GOP pines for the old days, which means it's perfectly happy to keep doing things the Bush-era neocon way. Practically speaking, that means being passive, getting along cozily with Democrats, and ignoring the general will of the people while collecting $$$.

Personally, I think most of America's federal-level problems could be solved in a single evening with the aid of a sniper team—a few hundred people who go out, each hitting only a single target, more or less at the same time. I'd be happy to draw up a "naughty list" of Democrats and Republicans who all deserve 700-grain headache pills.
