"mediocrity mafia"

Douglas Murray talks with Ayaan Hirsi Ali about the resignation of Claudine Gay. The one thing I took from the discussion was the concept of a "mediocrity mafia" dominating Harvard's affairs. What a term! 

Harvard's problem obviously goes much deeper than Gay herself.
