These sandwiches weren't as good as I thought they'd be. I'm pretty sure I did everything right in preparing them, but the execution just didn't live up to the concept. Hélas.

Is this something that you saw somewhere and imitated? Because Nutella and Brie sounds absolutely awful.
ReplyDelete(Nice hyphens, too. :p)
From here.
ReplyDeleteYep. Still gotta say that looks awful, even though I do love me some Nutella. I am morbidly curious as to how it tasted, though, beyond not as good as you thought they'd be. Although I'm not sure how you might convey taste in words.
ReplyDeleteTo me, it tasted pretty much the way I imagined Nutella + Brie tasting. That's unfortunate because I'd been hoping the whole would be more than the sum of its parts. It just didn't come together for me.
ReplyDeleteGotcha. That makes sense.
ReplyDeleteMaybe use different bread?
ReplyDeleteRuth,
ReplyDeleteYeah! Let's try RYE!
