and now, we plan again

Having leaped the hurdle of the garbage-plate fest, I now concentrate on this coming Friday, when I'll be serving mac and cheese plus my version of Cobb salad to the office crew.

I had originally thought about doing mac and cheese plus some protein—salmon, lobster, shrimp, chicken, whatever—but in the end, I decided that the salad itself would contain all the protein we'd need for a proper luncheon—except for bacon. I'll be dumping crumbled bacon into the pasta. So there's that.
