boeuf bourguignon and Oreo pie

Photos Friday afternoon if I remember to do so, but I'm finishing up some boeuf bourguignon (beef burgundy). Earlier this evening (i.e., Thursday evening), because I knew I'd have to use some noisy equipment, I made John Kanell's incredible-looking Oreo pie. I think this was my first time making something akin to a graham-cracker crust (except with Oreos); it wasn't too hard. Well, I made most of the pie, anyway: I have to finish it in the morning with dollops of cream and some extra, decadent trimmings.

So that's Friday lunch for the office: beef burgundy and Oreo pie.
