zee luncheon

A couple snapshots of today's luncheon. We're down a man today: our Korean coworker is out to be with his daughter as she goes through her seventh(!) and final dental appointment. I've set some of this food aside for my coworker to have upon his return on Monday.

And the food-porn closeup. Yes, those are Lindt truffles.

Those're homemade dollops of whipped cream underneath the truffles. I'm curious as to how the pie tastes (haven't tried it yet). As I was making it yesterday, I snuck a taste and thought the cream cheese made everything a wee bit too tart, but we'll see what my boss and American coworker think. Suspense.

Speaking of my American coworker, whose name is Micah, he's now got a blog up—one he built himself from the ground up, with his own server and everything.
