news from all around

News, news, news. Canada probably never expected to be in the spotlight like this.

We'll start with Dr. John Pepple, who's been doing an "Elites Abusing Power" series. See his latest entry here: "Elites Abusing Power: Take Your Pick."

Next: Trudeau is Alone (or so I hope).

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, amid collapsing domestic approval ratings, is witnessing full-scale abandonment in the provinces, which is taking place as he moves to implement martial law on Freedom Convoy protesters who simply want their basic human rights respected.

Quebec is the latest province to revolt from the Canadian prime minister’s vaccine passport policy, Keean Bexte reported. “Trudeau is alone,” Bexte remarked.

On Monday, Quebec Premier François Legault met with public-health officials Monday night to discuss lifting the province’s vaccine-passport system. That announcement came on Tuesday afternoon.

Quebec thus becomes the fifth province to announce the end of the vaccine passports, joining Alberta, Saskatchewan, Prince Edward Island, and Ontario.

Trudeau's stupidity could end up intensifying Quebecker séparatisme.

Styx on Biden's upcoming belated SOTU address:

I'm actually looking forward to watching the shit show as Biden attempts to struggle his way through a long speech while Democrats look on with pained expressions, hoping he doesn't fuck up too badly. My prediction is that Biden's speech won't run longer than half an hour, which is about the amount of time he'll have to be coherent before the wake-up drugs in his veins stop working, and he sinks back into his dementia.

Paul Joseph Watson notes that Trump backs Zemmour for president for France. I have mixed feelings on the matter. At first glance, Zemmour seems to be a Trump-style nationalist/populist, but he also sees himself as a Gaullist, which automatically puts me on my guard because France has had Gaullist presidents in the past, and this has never augured well for America. I also don't see that Zemmour has any background when it comes to managing an economy as large as France's. If Zemmour retains the old French reflex to go statist in matters economic, this also doesn't bode well for France.

A deranged man, Quintez Brown, attempted to shoot Democrat mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg. Brown turns out to be a Black Lives Matter and "social justice" activist. It's doubtful this will get much play in the national media given that it doesn't fit the current white-supremacy narrative. A black man shooting at a Democrat? The hell you say!
