So Nancy Pelosi might be heading to Taiwan, anyway, but a White House spokesman has made clear there is to be no trolling: the US remains firmly committed to the One China policy: "We do not support Taiwan independence."
White House NSC Coordinator John Kirby said today, [unequivocally], that Biden’s White House does not support an [independent] Taiwan.
He said this as Nancy Pelosi is expected to visit Taiwan tomorrow.
