If Charles critiqued the TV series "Rings of Power," his critique would be detail-filled, and it would read something like what you'll hear below, just without all the swearing:
This level of criticism isn't possible for me because I don't know the history and geography of Middle Earth in any detail. I have a shaky remembrance of the novels' broad strokes, and I can remember the plot of Peter Jackson's films pretty well. But to do the sort of critique shown above, you need to know your history and geography, and it probably helps to have mastered the content of things like Tolkien's notes and the writings collected in The Silmarillion.
