barely any blood at all

I didn't go distance walking, but here's my sock after a more or less standard day of going to work while wearing my regular shoes: only the smallest of blood spots.

I have no idea whether I should feel encouraged by this, but instinctively, I do. Treatment of the wound doesn't involve much more than cleaning the area with an alcohol wipe, drying everything off, and applying a bandage. (I continue to take my antibiotics, of course.) I use a smaller, thinner bandage at night, and when I go to work, I put on the bigger gauze bandage. All of this is a radical improvement from how things were before I began visiting the D&F Hospital, but with the hospital no longer the place for me to go, I'll be getting my meds from elsewhere. I guess I'm thankful to D&F for starting me on the right path, but given what happened during that second visit, I won't be going back. Anyway, the blood stopper really seems to be doing its thing, and that's what counts.
