I was a little surprised to hear about Tucker's rumored political ambitions. What do you think of a Trump/Carlson ticket?
ReplyDeleteIt's hard for me to think of Tucker Carlson as anything other than a media talking head, so the idea that the man has political ambitions strikes me as strange. A big question for me would be: does Tucker Carlson have anything approaching Trump's financial acumen? Could he, if needed, manage the world's largest economy? That said, I suppose I'd find a Trump/Carlson ticket tolerable, though not ideal. For my money, Kari Lake really ought to be Trump's pick for veep. She has none of the baggage of Sarah Palin, ten times the intellect, and a pit bull's sensibilities when it comes to the media (bolstered by her having been a media personality herself, so she knows what the swamp creatures are thinking). She's also been far more faithful to Trump and his agenda than most of Trump's inner circle has been. I'd much rather see Trump/Lake. But given Trump's inability to see the obvious when it comes to picking his insiders...
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm a big fan of Lake as well. And I agree it would be best for Tucker to stay in his lane, he can add a lot of value by publicizing the truth. I'm curious about what line he crossed with Fox--The Jan 6 tapes, big Pharma buying off the media, or something else? I reckon we'll find out soon.
