at the office

I was pretty much dead to the world yesterday, after my trek, but last evening, I got a sudden call from the boss, who said the CEO needs one of my magical PPTs for yet another unforeseen lecture. (Why the guy doesn't plan his year out, I'll never guess, but I suspect he's just flaky and doesn't like being pinned down. He's Schrödinger's CEO, ontologically indeterminate, mentally vibrating all over the place.) So I've been in the office since about 2:30 p.m. I have a Skype appointment at 9 p.m., and I'm still not finished with the PPT (which might be needed tomorrow, or it might not—everything is vague when it comes to the CEO), so I'll be finishing the PPT at home after I've concluded the Skype call. Yay?
