I'd promised there wouldn't be any more toe pics, but I'm putting up this final, ugly shot to show you that the toe is indeed fully healed. There had been this tiny black dot right where the wound hole used to be, but the black dot was only a superficial holdover sitting atop the fresh callus. Using my "convex" nail clippers, I dug into the callus and clipped the dot away. You doubtless see a different dot that's still on my toe, off to the side, but that's from a different thing: I had clipped away a bunch of callus and caused a tiny bleed when I went in a little too deeply. Only a couple drops of blood leaked out, and that wound has also healed. I can probably afford to clip that dot away, too. I should probably scrape off the flaky bits of skin, but I'm a terrible pedicurist. Not to mention lazy.
