word of the day: cheugy

I'd never heard the word cheugy before this morning. It's apparently a term that primarily describes Millennials who are trying too hard to be trendy and cool. If you're cheugy, you're un-trendy. The term is pronounced "chew-ghee," rhyming with loogie. I'm old enough, now, that I'm past caring about stupid labels like this. But it is depressing to realize the younger generation sees Millennials as old and awkward. I still think of Millennials as babies.
