a glimpse into the Biden impeachment inquiry

It's good to remember that, before Donald Trump's impeachments, there was an inquiry before each one, so this current impeachment inquiry about Joe Biden is not an example of GOP foot-dragging.* I don't know the ins and outs, but it seems that an inquiry is a de rigueur prerequisite to formal impeachment. Even if the inquiry and impeachment result in nothing (as they will), all this damning information is being fed into the record for people of conscience to mull over. So at least there's that.

__________

*But it'd be fair to say that Kevin McCarthy foot-dragged about the having the inquiry.
