One Korean term for testicle is "fire-egg" (bul-al, 불알). The "fire" gives the term a masculine yang feel (all that semen just burning to get into a woman!), but a scrotum, in Korean, is an eum-nang/음낭, or a "sack of yin," yin being the feminine cosmic principle. Sexual mix-ups in language are everywhere: in French, a testicle is une testicule—grammatically feminine—while a vagina is le vagin—grammatically masculine. People were confused back in the day. Or Adam, when he was naming things, was either drunk or high.
