Letitia James isn't even trying to hide the fact that she's engaging in lawfare against Donald Trump. She wants to seize his assets, so she's trying to show that Trump's recent payment of a reduced bond (which allows him time to formulate an appeal) is somehow not valid. This is what angry desperation looks like.
