Friday night was another modest 9K walk, but it helped me to keep my blood sugar down. I just have to be strict about intermittent fasting. For me, it works like this: walk at night, have an artificially sweetened drink (this technically breaks my fast, which normally starts after lunch), then take my meds, then fast until morning. With sleep happening during that time, this seems to be the most painless way to avoid the temptation to snack.
Bill Keezer used to tell me he would collect every single one of my flower pics. So any and all successive flower pics are in his memory. Rest in peace, Bill Keezer—lover of history, science, religion, trains, grandkids, and flowers.
