shouldn't have, but did

I'm in the process of clearing out my fridge, and last night, since I still had some scallops, shrimp, pasta, butter, Parmesan, and heavy cream, I decided to put it all together in a deliciously inadvisable way. Behold—my seafood pasta:

I cheated with the sauce: I had wanted to go for something Alfredo-ish, but there wasn't enough Parmesan, so I had to whip out Ye Olde Cornstarch to act as a thickener. It worked fine, and since I ate the pasta before the sauce had a chance to cool and congeal (as cornstarchy sauces are wont to do), there was no gloppiness problem. All in all, a great late dinner.
