so no steak party, I guess?

One of the casualties of today's team-destroying announcement (and just like that, our R&D department was gone) is the steak luncheon I'd planned for this Friday. Since I'm probably going to be in a different office by Friday, I doubt I'm going to have a filet mignon party. Then again... I could float the idea of having the luncheon at my place on Saturday, but I'd do that only if all three of my officemates showed up. If even one decided to bag, I'd have to cancel. Just not worth it. Filet is expensive. I'll ask the guys what they think tomorrow.
