foot update

One thing I was wondering was whether I'd developed a bone bruise in my right foot. After reading up on bone bruises, I don't think that's what's going on (I have no swelling). But the sore part has developed a blister.

the bottom of my right foot, which is apparently injury-prone

This is minor, as blisters go, which leaves me to wonder why my foot was in so much pain (there was no blister at first). A blister is an effect, not a cause, so there may still be something deeper going on: if not a bone bruise, then something less serious but still painful. Best course of action, for the next two weeks, is to concentrate on staircase work (because staircase work, while intense, is brief) and to Newcastle-diet away a few pounds before I head out again; dieting will help keep weight off my feet. I also need to spend time on core work for my back.
