the fast connection

I wrote, back in March, about how the IT people came into my apartment and finally—finally—hooked me up to a fast internet connection. I went from a paltry 30-40 Mbps connection speed to 95 Mbps, which is about what you should expect in modern Korea. Alas, I enjoyed that higher speed for only a few months before I moved into my current digs. Curious, I just did a Speedtest.net check on the connection speed in my new place, and here are the results:

Not too shabby, although I wish the upload speed could be a bit faster. The speed doubtless varies depending on the time of day, the number of active users in my building, etc. That said, I'm a happy camper. This will be a good life. Good enough.
