poor, poor Galadriel

So it's come to this: people have created parody commercials for hygiene products using the character of Galadriel from the new "Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" series:

You know, I have nothing against actress Morfydd Clark, even if the scene being parodied above (Galadriel on a slo-mo horse) is uncomfortably creepy. She's just another schlub looking for work, is all. She didn't create the role of Galadriel; she's not responsible for how badly the character is written, and it's possible that she had little idea of what she was getting into when she signed onto the "Rings of Power" project for X number of seasons. She does have control of her future, of course: she could easily walk away, as Ruby Rose did when the "Batgirl" TV series turned out to be a shit-show after only one season (and good for Rose, as far as I'm concerned). A Season 2 of "Rings of Power" without Morfydd Clark would be a bold statement, and further proof that Amazon is wasting its money.
