This past November 30 (yesterday), former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin (江澤民) passed away from leukemia at the age of 96. Thanks to the education I've received from religiously watching China Uncensored on YouTube, I know that Jiang was the force behind the power struggle currently going on in Beijing between Jiang's faction and current president Xi Jinping. I can only assume that, with Jiang now gone, his followers will continue the struggle. What this means for China as a whole is unclear, but I'm pretty sure that, whatever the outcome, the Chinese people will continue to be oppressed, and they will continue to complain only periodically unless and until they find the collective balls to rise up and overthrow all authority. What are the odds that that will happen?
