lung update

I felt significantly better by the time I went home from work Tuesday evening. I'm not out of the woods yet, not by a long shot, but here's hoping this is the beginning of an upward trend. I really do want to get back to staircase work, but I can't have my lungs seize up on me (and a possible heart attack, too) as I'm struggling to go from the 4th floor to the 5th floor.

  1. After reading the previous post, I would definitely head to a respiratory specialist clinic (호흡기내과) to get everything checked out, just in case. Could be Long COVID, but could be something else entirely too.

  2. Glad you are apparently on the road to recovery. Daniel's advice sounds solid to me--it would be good to know the cause and preventative steps you might take going forward.

    Stay strong!

  3. Could all be correlated with the fine dust. I'm registered for a half marathon at 여의도 in a couple of weeks. Fortunately, I haven't paid. Fortunately because due to the likelihood of a lingering atmospheric concentration of Mongolian dust and Chinese fumes I'm mulling pulling out. You might want to look into getting a serious version of the dreaded mask until you're right again.

  4. Agree with Neil's comment above. I wear a mask when I'm on the subway and outdoors when the dust is bad. Not because of COVID, but just to ward off the common cold and my allergies.
