A slightly altered repost from 2021, a month before my stroke:
The cherry blossoms are out soon in South Korea; I've seen one over-eager tree already in bloom in my neighborhood. It will soon be joined by its sleepier companions. Cherry blossoms are call beot-ggot in Korean (벚꽃), which to me sounds like "butt-goat." Anyway, spring has sprung, and as hard as it is to believe, it's already April.
Oh, yeah: April Fool's! The above photo isn't real!
