confusing hanja

It doesn't help that I don't know many hanja (Sino-Korean characters), but even among the few I know, I get confused when they look too similar.

Here's a classic:

The top character, ryeok, means "strength" or "power." The bottom character, do, means "knife." See how little difference there is between them?
