this might make you go "whoa"

In my post on Roe v. Wade, I mentioned artificial uteruses as a possible end-run around abortion—a way to take the fetus from the mother who doesn't want it while allowing it to gestate fully and have a real life. Well, you can be sure that, if a moron like me has thought of something like that (and the thought wasn't even originally mine), then someone else had the thought first. I'm especially impressed by the examples of natural-language processing. We seem to have advanced, somewhat, since Watson.
