A team of older male soccer players (average age of 42), the Wrexham Red Dragons (Wrexham is in Wales), takes on the US women's team, which is made up of young women in their prime, and the final score is, frankly, hard to look at:
Sorry, ladies.
As a commenter to the video noted, the US ladies won't take away any key lessons from this experience, whether about the misguided nature of feminism or the "it's okay for biological males to compete in women's sports" issue.
"...the US women's team, which is made up of young women in their prime..."
ReplyDeleteNot that it matters to the bottom line, but to be accurate, the US team was also made up primarily of retired players, so they weren't exactly in their prime. Still, 12-0 is a pretty bad drubbing.
The women's team had an average age of 30. I wouldn't call that "past one's prime." I saw the women gave their drubbing a predictably positive spin.
