  1. You should check out his latest on Russian homefront cooking, too. It's a pumpkin kasha (porridge) in which he uses what is clearly 단호박 instead of an American pumpkin (which is not in season). HJ was very annoyed when he called it "Japanese squash." She loves 단호박, and she ordered one this morning so we can try making it ourselves.
