Via Corax, the Buddhist aikidoka of Ow, My Blog fame, comes this hilarious article: Unitarian Jihad.
While you're visiting Corax, get a load of his post on a new zafu. Corax spends a little time talking about the Mountain Seat, a term for where the abbot sits in a monastery. In Korean Buddhism, this same seat is often called a Lion's Seat or Lion's Throne, because it's generally a wood or stone table sculpted to look as though it's being supported by a lion.
