gigs and the Superbowl

I have no desire to see the Patriots win the Superbowl. I'm hoping they fall flat on their grinning faces. Wake me when this is over.

In other news...

I've got private gigs. I haven't had gigs in years, but suddenly I've got three: two proofreading jobs (one at the behest of my boss, actually) plus one voice recording stint in Yeouido, which I'm off to in the next few minutes. The big proofing gig has already netted me W240,000 and the voice gig is another W100,000. I'm not sure how much the second proofing gig will be, but at this point I'm happy to get a bit of extra work: that's money I can squirrel away for my plane ticket back home.

More later.
