Remember when I blogged about BlahblahFish after The Maven sent me a link to it? I just received the following email:
Kevin,
I'm the guy that runs BlahblahFish. Thanks for blogging about us a few weeks back!
We've just announced the "Blahblah Haha" Funniest Languages of January 2008, and we're trying to get the word out. After over 20,000 attempted translations, based on user voting, Korean is the funniest, followed by Japanese at a close second, and Latin a distant third. Swedish is the most boring. :)
You can see the results here: LINK
I'm trying to track down some Korean Boing-Boing-like blogs so that I can pass this on to them. There's a Korean version, so it would be great to see if [Koreans] find this amusing. If you have any ideas, please let me know. We'd definitely appreciate it.
Thanks again.
-Tom :)
Tom, I appreciate the email, but you need to know that, for me, emoticons are like garlic to a vampire. DESIST!
In the meantime: Well done, Korea!
