oil and seeds

Riddle me this: why do keto-heads say nut and seed oils are bad for you because of their hormonal effects while also saying that you should eat nuts and seeds? Aren't the seed oils in those very seeds? Frankly, I don't get it. Or does the problem have something to do with heat? Oil can polymerize when you apply heat to it, so could it be that seed oils somehow become hormonally dangerous after heating?

For the record, the fats and oils considered keto are: unprocessed lard, beef tallow, avocado oil, clarified butter, and olive oil. Regular butter is also keto, but the milk solids in regular butter can burn, thereby reducing the butter's smoke point.
