leftie racism, front and center

A day or so ago on Instapundit, in the smoking aftermath of the recent election that began the process of freeing my country from the ugly, desperate grip of the woke agenda, I wrote the following comment on Instapundit:

A racist is someone who can't imagine a non-Democrat black person.
#WinsomeSears

Got an astounding 15 likes for my trouble, which is way more than the 1 or 2 likes I normally get. And how right I was, because the left just keeps on not getting it:

WHY IS THE LEFT SUCH A CESSPIT OF RACISM? MSNBC Guest on Winsome Sears: ‘There Is a Black Mouth Moving But a White Idea Running on the Runway of the Tongue.’

Republican and Marine veteran Winsome Sears’s becoming the first black woman elected to statewide office in Virginia has confounded and frustrated many in the media.
During a Thursday segment on MSNBC’s The ReidOut with host Joy Reid, for example, Professor Michael Eric Dyson suggested that as a Republican opposed to the teaching of Critical Race Theory in public schools, Sears — Old Dominion’s lieutenant governor-elect — is a puppet of white supremacy.
“The problem is, here, they want white supremacy by ventriloquist effect,” he explained. “There is a black mouth moving but a white idea running on the runway of the tongue of a figure who justifies and legitimates the white supremacist practices.

As Beckett Adams of the Washington Examiner tweets, “MSNBC hosts and contributors have argued in the past that ‘charged,’ ‘angry,’ ‘Chicago,’ ‘Baltimore,’ ‘golf,’ and ‘privileged’ are racist codewords. but not a word for Joy Reid and her guest calling the black Virginia Lt. gov-elect a white supremacy-supporting ‘black mouth.’”

In case you're not aware, Winsome Sears is a female, black Republican ex-Marine who is now the new lieutenant governor of my home state of Virginia—and leftists, racists that they are, are having a hard time understanding how a black conservative is even possible. This happens over and over again with black conservatives like the late Herman Cain, Candace Owens, Kim Klacik, Condi Rice, Larry Elder, and Thomas Sowell. They're all Uncle Toms, according to the left, which is what prompted the making of the awesome documentary "Uncle Tom," which I highly recommend, especially to unenlightened leftists.

So who's the party of racism, again? Nothing's changed since before the Civil War, when Republicans were the abolitionists and Democrats were the slaveholders. That's another one the left hates to hear: Harriet Tubman, gun-toting Republican. (Or at least, Republicans these days claim her as one of their own, which is odious enough for leftists. Attempts by "fact checkers" have been made to debunk this notion, but it's true enough to say that Tubman's sentiments would have aligned with those of the Republicans of her day.) Put her on the $20 bill, I say, first Dem president Andrew Jackson be damned. And watch more heads explode.

Yeah, I read about Dyson at Althouse just before coming here (I go alphabetically, so no offense) and was still shaking my head in disgust at the blatant racism of his comments. I guess all black folk are supposed to think alike. Sears needs to get her ass back on the plantation, right? I wonder if these lefties are really that ignorant and racist, or if they are just promoting the narrative. Heh, I can hear Instapundit saying "embrace the power of "and".

I have to believe that people outside the media bubble know better than to accept this bullshit. It is encouraging to see so many black parents joining in the anti-CRT in schools movement.
