two "x"es

Just a note to those not paying attention: when someone's address is broadcast in public by malicious parties as an invitation to harass that person, that's called "doxxing," not "doxing." The verb is to doxx, not to dox. By the same token, when it comes to vaccinations, the slang terms are to vaxx, the vaxx, and unvaxxed, not to vax, the vax, and unvaxed. Two "x"es, got it? Pay attention. As Jack Reacher repeatedly says in the series "Reacher," "Details matter." Don't just hear the words in your head: see them as they're written on the page. Look at Glenn Reynolds's recent article to see what I mean. Reynolds is a conscientious writer.

  1. I like using three "x"es. Content gets more traffic that way.

  2. I stand corrected! Never even thought about it, honestly. I hope I don't get doxxed for refusing to get vaxxed!

And good one, Charles! Your comment made me laugh.
