There are rumblings that Sweden is mulling leaving the EU:
Sweden, long leftist, spent years denying it had an immigration problem, claiming it was fully on board with the larger EU project of taking in immigrants willy-nilly. But with a more conservative government in power, Euroskepticism now finally has an opportunity to breathe free, and this could be the right moment for the country to unfuck itself. Here's hoping.
In case it's not obvious, I'm pro EU exit for any European country. Some years back, I concluded that the EU is a bad idea. Europeans themselves aren't ready for this level of integration. Differences in language, culture, and history make that obvious.
