another update from France

Dom got home from a wonderful time in Corsica to discover there'd been an earthquake in the Le Vanneau-Irleau area, and his house's chimney had collapsed. Repair workers and inspectors are scheduled to come by and do an assessment. If the state determines this was "a natural catastrophe," then the state will pay for all repairs. Otherwise, Dom will have to negotiate with the workers and the state as to who pays for what, and how much. Insurance will be involved. Make sure you pronounce "insurance" the country way: en-shorens.
