Don't know about the politics, but it's pretty funny.
The Meatrix
I think BH is reading too much into the Matrix. BH's probably exerted more brain activity watching it, than the W. Bros did making the film. This is known as "The Lucas Effect." When the averate teenage moviegoer can outthink the filmmaker and is left with a product that's way slick, but with less substance than you'd hoped for.
Peter Jackson rules. Sure LOTR is a known quantity, but the quality of the filmmaking is unparalleled in the genre right now.

Yeah, I watched the Meatrix. PETA must love the Atkins Diet folks.
