A big, fat quiche and an apple crumble:
A horrific crust, I know. It was a rush job. But I enjoy extra chunks of crust. |
Quiche ingredients: savory custard (heavy cream, eggs, herbs, pepper, onion flakes), shredded cheese mix plus Gruyère, homemade sausage, bacon. No spinach or mushrooms this time. I've got mushrooms, but they're going into the upcoming boeuf bourguignon.
Below: apple crumble.
I won't be able to provide you with a scooped-out shot of the crumble (or a one-slice-missing shot of the quiche) until Tuesday afternoon. If I remember to do so.
The next set of leftovers ought to rock and roll. Ravioli with cream-and-wine crab sauce, plus an apple galette. I haven't made pasta in a while. Am feeling rusty.
