Taxation is theft, say the libertarians. I agree. I owe the IRS a whopping $438 this year. Fuck! I had been dreading doing my taxes, given that I owed several hundred last year as well, and sat down today to do them using the H&R Block website, where you can file a federal report for free (the state report costs money). It's small consolation that the Commonwealth of Virginia will be sending me a refund of $121. I don't really earn that much, so it's astounding and appalling to me that I owe as much as I do. Fuck me harder, Uncle Sam!
