communications blackout

Last night, I suffered what appeared to be my very first full-scale service outage. I wasn't able to access anything online. Checked my connections, found nothing wrong, scratched my nads in primate confusion. Instead of waiting it out beyond 3AM, I decided to go to sleep, reasoning, as many lazy people do, that "Maybe the problem will be gone by the time I wake up." In this particular case, the logic of laziness held true, and WE'RE BACK, BABY.

My internet connection is free, and it's been about ten weeks since I jacked into the dorm's LAN. I suppose it's about time we had an outage; we can only hope it doesn't happen again anytime soon.
