My apartment complex's parking lot is totally clear and drivable. No excuses for skipping work today. Temperatures are around 44 degrees (6.7ºC). Snow still thickly covers the grass, but Weather.com is now predicting temps in the 60s (15.6º-20.6ºC) for Saturday and Sunday, so I still think everything will be gone by Sunday evening. If anything's going to offset the rapid melt, it's the predicted nighttime lows, which promise to be below freezing every day for the rest of this week. For the next few days, I'll have to watch out for black ice during my nighttime drives home. We don't want a repeat of last October 18, do we?
