Styx to the UK: "Shit or get off the pot."

Styx takes a certain pleasure in castigating the UK's weird and arcane political process. I'd love for my readers who celebrate the Queen's birthday to weigh in on how right—or how wrong—Styx is in his criticisms of British politics. I basically agree with Styx that the UK really ought to bear the brunt of a hard Brexit, take its lumps for a few years, and capitalize on its hard-won sovereignty to make trade deals with both the US and countries that it hasn't established strong economic ties with before, e.g., countries in Eastern Europe (a list of the top 15 trading partners with the UK shows precisely zero Eastern European nations on that list).
