no need to keep this a secret

I told my boss I'm sticking with my resignation, so I'll be out of here on January 20. I need to check with my real-estate office about how housing is going to be worked out. By the 20th, I'll have my severance pay, which will go right into the deposit for my residence, assuming I'm able to make the arrangements I'm hoping to make. I'm guessing the deposit will be W20 million won, and the monthly rent will be W700,000 plus utilities. My severance won't quite cover the deposit (severance is actually a bit more than W20 million, but that's before you subtract the taxes, fees, and whatever other bullshit there is; I'll be lucky to end up with W10 million, which is not even $8,000), so I'll have to pay a few thousand bucks with the cash already in my bank account, just to cover the deposit. Fun times.

Taking care of housing comes first. Then, if I'm going to look for university work, I'll have some time to shop because unis start in March. If I fail to find anything (I've heard the uni market is tight these days), maybe I'll just hightail it back to America. Wyoming is calling, after all. Not sure what kind of job I'd do in the States; I'd probably make a great janitor.
