I'm still trying to process this. Last I remember, Richard Dreyfuss was among the wokest of the woke. I'd heard murmurs, a few years back, that he might be uncomfortable with some aspects of extreme leftism, but for him to appear on the overtly rightie "The Glenn Beck Program" (which I never watch) is... well, that's something else:
Dreyfuss apparently got interviewed by Tucker Carlson, too. What universe is this?
Don't get me wrong: I'm happy to see that Dreyfuss got red-pilled, especially since I've found him to be a likable actor (just don't get me started on "Mr. Holland's Opus"). But, seriously—when did this happen? It was a pretty big deal when playwright David Mamet switched over to conservatism; I recall there being a ton of squawking and flapping. But Dreyfuss's metanoia seems to have been much quieter and subtler. At least, I never heard anything about it.
I fear this is an example of too little, too late. Good for Dreyfuss for making the effort to inspire a grassroots effort to take our country back, but I don't see enough people waking up to our national peril. I hope I'm wrong about that.
