I visited the bank. We got a clear printout of the last two weeks' worth of transactions.
Nope. Nothing. Either she never sent the money, or there was a technical problem.
I tried calling the lady's cell phone number while at the bank. No answer. I sent her an email, asking her for the exact date of her funds transfer. No answer to that yet, either.
Then Sperwer wrote in about my trouble:
"What do you do when you ask a person for the money they owe, but they claim to have sent it already?"
Mmheh, heh! Send me over to collect.
