I've discussed this time and again on this blog: Chinese imperialism always follows this formula: claim a territory by saying it has always been Chinese. And now, laughably, China is doing this with Tajikistan, whose people look nothing like the Han Chinese. The following WION News segment states that China is claiming half of Tajikistan for itself. Valkyrie-like news anchor Palki Sharma Upadhyay—my South Asian idol—is on the case:

China said Tibet was originally Chinese. China claims the Koguryo kingdom (located in what is now North Korea) was originally Chinese. See how this works?
