  3. Which is next Monday. So I did have it right. I guess they threw you an early birthday party?

  4. Yeah, it was an early party because we do these "cook for the office" shindigs on Fridays.

    Regarding the usage of "next Monday": we northern Virginians tend to say "this Monday" when Monday is right around the corner, and "next Monday," in that situation, means the Monday following "this Monday." So: some linguistic static there, but I think we're on the same page, now.
