Saw this in a comment over at Instapundit. The commenter wrote: "Nate Silver is sure willing to talk smack about statistics when they show what he wants to believe."
Here's the hilarious graphic the commenter displayed in his comment:
I wrote a comment in that same thread, slightly before this person submitted his comment:
Nate Silver is the stats-guru-turned-drooling-moron whose leftward bias had him cherry-picking poll data for his vaunted "algorithm" in 2016, leading to idiotic predictions—up to the night before the big election—of a large-margin Hillary victory. Ever since that embarrassment, he's been doing what he can to rehabilitate his image as a stats guru. I realize I'm committing the genetic fallacy by automatically dismissing insights just because they come from Nate Silver, but I'm simply not interested enough to do more than toss off a one-paragraph comment when the man opens a major orifice to flatulate a pronouncement. To me, Silver is more a source for comedy than a source for prognostications. His anus richly deserves a stiletto heel rammed inside it. (If a lady might deign to sully some of her footwear.)
